Several months ago - one of my sorority sisters planted the idea in my head about donating my hair. Kristy had already planned on doing it and I started thinking about it.
In June/July I found out that my friend Jenny had breast cancer - she was also pregnant. Jenny is a strong person and several years ago, I got to see her strength of spirit first hand.
When I heard she had cancer, I immediately decided to donate my hair to the cancer society to help women with cancer recieve wigs.
Today - I lost 9 inches of hair - but my heart grew so much more.
Thank you Jenny for your strength - Piper will always know how strong, funny, and wonderful her mother is!
